Volunteer at the Co-Op!
The February wine club features a selection of wines that will pair well with your Valentine's Day celebrations! For this presentation, we are giving you a variety of different wines that you may not have tried before. A pink Pinot Grigio, A Cremant de Alsace, and a Grüner Veltliner from Oregon! Below, please find some details!
Volcanalia - Pinkopalla - Italy
A beautiful bright pink colored Pinot grigio from Italy. The bright pink color has very slight hues between orange and amber. The nose is captivating; it sports hints of small red fruits, which are followed by citrus notes. The sip is lively, its decisive freshness does not obscure the saline soul nor the hint of tannic texture.
Charles Frey - Cremant De Alsace - Brut Nature - Alsace, France
This biodynamic, bright bubbly Brut Nature Crémant is made of Pinot Blanc, Auxerrois and Riesling. It is fresh, focused and structured, without being austere. The Frey family hailed from Switzerland and settled in France at the beginning of the 1700s.
Art and Science - Grüner Veltliner - McMinnville, Oregon
A fresh, green, bright wine made from the Gruner Veltliner varietal. The makers run a family vineyard in Oregon and have a field to bottle philosophy. It is fermented with natural yeast.
