The Central City Co-Op is partnering with a local company that is direct sourcing straws from Indonesia.  The production of these straws supports small island communities in the country.  

Made of bamboo, these biodegradable, compostable straws are completely ecofriendly. 

Bamboo is a grass, and one of the fastest growing plants on earth! Ecohero works with communities to  harvest the bamboo and to turned into attractive, durable straws. The bamboo is grown without any insecticides or presticides and the straws are completely chemical free, plastic free, toxin free, and contaminant free.
